A star aligns: Rare 'Hophenge' solar event

On the evening of the solar eclipse, the Hopkins community enjoyed a second celestial event: "Hophenge," when the sun perfectly aligned with the Gilman Hall spire. A related gathering on the Keyser Quad in front of the MSE Library was part of the course Guided Tour of the Planets led by Kevin Lewis, associate professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
