Xin Chen

Xin Chen studies epigenetics to learn how cancer cells form and grow. Her research has implications for stem cell biology, chromatin biology, developmental biology, and regenerative medicine.

Chen previously studied how human cells divide and differentiate during pregnancy. She also led a research team reporting progress in understanding the shape-shifting ways of stem cells, which was instrumental for medical research and disease treatment.
