With 10 divisions and 11 campuses around the world, keeping up with all that's happening at Johns Hopkins University isn't easy—but it just got a little easier.
This month, the Office of Communications launched The Hub, an online news center where readers can find what's new and newsworthy at the university.
"There's no telling what you'll find here, because there's no way of knowing what Johns Hopkins will do next," the site says, adding, "But when it happens, this is where you'll find it."
The site features a range of topic areas, including health, science and technology, arts and culture, politics and society, university news, student life, athletics, and voices and opinion. Content is pulled from and links to news sources around the university. The site allows users to sort articles by how recently they were posted and by popularity.
Readers are encouraged to interact with stories through social media and The Hub's commenting feature. A Twitter feed on the site's home page collects and displays tweets from around the university.
The Hub will be updated daily with Johns Hopkins news and can be found at hub.jhu.edu.
