Francis J. Gavin is an expert in American foreign policy, statecraft, and nuclear proliferation, with a focus on Europe. He has studied contemporary nuclear policy and the ways U.S. policy priorities have remained intact.
Gavin's writings include "Gold, Dollars, and Power: The Politics of International Monetary Relations, 1958-1971" and "Nuclear Statecraft: History and Strategy in America's Atomic Age."
