Faculty Expert Profile

Christina Black is an expert in business communication, law and ethics, and management and organization. She teaches managerial communication with a focus on persuasion, ethics, and intercultural communication. Her research interests include the history of rhetoric and figures of speech related to the body and waste. She has designed education materials with various clients, including the prison business education program Resilience Education, the leadership coaching platform BetterUp, and the Warrior-Scholar Project. In addition to her work in academia, she has worked in finance, nonprofits, and startups.
