Symposium on Race Relations: Campus Racism-a-thon with Lawrence Ross
Description
Featuring author Lawrence Ross, the Campus Racism-a-thon is an exercise where stakeholders, faculty, administration, and students use teamwork to talk about how campus racism affects them on their particular campus.
It is important that each participant attended Ross's "The Blackballed Lecture" on Feb. 20 first, as this Campus Racism Hack-a-thon is the follow-up workshop in which Ross uses unconventional methods to get stakeholders to communicate with each other.
This event is a collaboration between the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Black Student Union, and the Black Faculty and Staff Association.
