REPRESENTATION

Voting begins for the university Staff Advisory Council

You are choosing members to replace the inaugural SAC representatives who have served two-year terms or are vacating their seats

Elections for the university's Staff Advisory Council begin today. You can add your voice to the conversation by voting for your division's representatives now through Feb. 3.

In this election, you are choosing members to replace the inaugural SAC representatives who have served two-year terms or are vacating their seats.

All full-time staff (nonexecutive level) can vote for candidates from their school or division. You can review each nominee's profile before voting.

The SAC comprises 37 members elected by staff plus five nonvoting members appointed by university leadership. The number of members per division is determined by the number of employees in that division, with a minimum of two seats for each. Candidates are self-nominated.

The SAC members lend their perspectives to an ongoing conversation, crafting and sharing proposals with university leadership around initiatives to enhance the staff experience. They also help inform key decisions and policymaking at the university.
