This winter, get help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at an upcoming FAFSA Night led by CollegeBound's JHU-dedicated college access specialists. Whether or not you believe your family qualifies for any grants, this is an important first step for college affordability.

The event will be held twice:

Complete the form for the session you'll attend, and a college access specialist will email you with more information. All registrants will receive email reminders leading up to the events.

What to expect

Experts will help you and your student(s) complete the FAFSA form, which serves as the gateway to financial aid opportunities.

At FAFSA Night, you'll create your federal student aid identification, complete both the student and parent sections, and submit the application, which will take about 30 to 60 minutes. Students also can get help completing their college scholarship service profile for their chosen colleges, so allow for extra time if needed.

Be sure to have both your student's and your Social Security numbers on hand. If either of you doesn't have one, reach out to JHU@collegeboundfoundation.org to discuss federal student aid eligibility and alternative financial aid applications.
