Annual Enrollment for 2026 university benefits ended on Oct. 31. All full-time benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and LiUNA bargaining unit members will receive confirmation of their elections by mail in early December.
If you need to make a correction to your benefits elections, follow these steps:
- Using "2026 Annual Enrollment Correction" in the subject line, email the university Benefits Service Center at benefits@jhu.edu no later than Dec. 31, 2025.
- Include full details of the correction you are requesting, including dependent information and documentation (i.e. birth certificate).
- You will receive a return email acknowledging receipt of your request.
Benefits changes that can be made throughout the year
Although Annual Enrollment is the only opportunity to choose your benefits for the coming year, there are some instances where you can make changes outside of this window.
- If you have a qualifying life event during the year, you have up to 30 days following to make a change to your benefits.
- You can update your beneficiary or health savings account at any time throughout the year.
- If your child care needs change, you can update your dependent care flexible spending account, child care voucher, and/or scholarship.
