That's why the Office of Benefits & Worklife is launching Office Hours to provide one-on-one assistance with your needs and questions. Whether you are already using the Child Care Voucher or Scholarship, or are just beginning to explore your options, a specialist is available to support you.
Office Hours schedule and booking
Beginning Monday, Aug. 18, employees and students with questions about the Child Care Voucher and Scholarship programs can reserve time with the specialist for support during dedicated hours. Virtual appointments are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Monday and Thursday. These sessions provide a convenient way to get personalized guidance, whether you are checking in about a reimbursement, wondering about eligibility, have a paperwork question, or need help with your application. If you're not currently using a voucher or scholarship
If you are new to these programs, the best place to start is their web pages, where you can learn about eligibility, applying, and how each program works. Then, if you still have questions, you can book an Office Hours appointment.
- Child Care Voucher offers tax-free financial assistance from $1,000 to $5,000 annually to qualifying employees to help pay for child care for pre-K children under age 6.
- Child Care Scholarship helps cover tuition for children enrolled at one of four JHU Partner Centers and can be used in addition to vouchers.
