Meet with a clinician

Counseling is easier to access than ever before, with options to meet one-on-one with a clinician either virtually or in person. You can choose to schedule an appointment with a member of the JHEAP Onsite Clinical Care Team on one of the three JHU campuses below, or you can receive referrals to licensed clinicians in your area. Here's where the teams are located:

  • East Baltimore, 550 Building, 550 N. Broadway, Suite 507
  • Keswick, 3910 Keswick Rd., North Building, Room N-2070
  • Bayview, 4940 Eastern Ave., Administrative Services Center, Room 277

To schedule an in-person or virtual appointment, call 888-978-1262 or complete the online request form. The telephonic assessment, referral service, and appointments are confidential and entirely free of charge to you; you will not need to use insurance. JHEAP offers up to six free counseling sessions for short-term needs per issue, per year to help you with life's challenges.

For leaders and managers

If are a supervisor, JHEAP can provide one-on-one support and consultation for navigating change and uncertainty while leading a team. Managers also can request a departmental webinar in which a JHEAP clinician can provide an overview of the service's resources and trainings on topics such as self-care, stress management, and more. Reach out to eap@jhu.edu to request either a virtual or in-person session.

Visit HR's Workshops and Webinars page to learn more about available departmental presentations, or complete the workshop request form and a team member will reach out to you. Presentations should be requested at least one month in advance.
