Have you recently welcomed a new child into your family? If so, the university's newest networking group, the Hopkins Village, is ready to help you make a smooth transition back to work. This group has been created to support employees who are returning to Johns Hopkins after parental leave by connecting peers in a similar life stage. Whether you've been away for a few weeks or a few months, this peer group is here to share resources, connections, and encouragement.

The Hopkins Village is open to any parent returning to work after welcoming a new child to their family. Whether it's your first or third child, or you are a birth, nonbirth, or adoptive parent, each return is a unique experience and significant life change. Join JHU peers to share support, experiences, tips, and resources in a safe and welcoming environment. This networking group is sponsored by JHU Benefits & Worklife.

Ready to join?

Join the Hopkins Village today and be part of a group that's with you every step of the way as you return to work. Here is a flyer that you can share with JHU colleagues.

The group will meet virtually from noon to 1 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month, starting Feb. 6. Registration is required, and you can register here. To join the dedicated Microsoft Teams group, email worklife@jhu.edu.

Additional networking groups can be found on the Johns Hopkins Employee Assistance Program webpage.
