- In this election, you are voting for self-nominated members to replace the 19 inaugural SAC representatives who served one-year terms rather than two to begin rotating membership.

About SAC
The SAC comprises 37 members elected by staff plus five nonvoting members appointed by university leadership. The number of SAC members per division is determined by the number of employees in that division, with a minimum of two seats for each.

University leadership thanks everyone who self-nominated for a position. "Your participation is the driving force behind this exciting new endeavor and is deeply appreciated," wrote Meredith Stewart, interim vice president for human relations, and Laurent Heller, executive vice president for finance and administration, in an email to the candidates. "We look forward to announcing the elected council members in the coming weeks."
