All Johns Hopkins affiliates are invited to join the Office of Government, Community, and Economic Partnerships in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through impactful employee engagement opportunities in Baltimore during the annual MLK Day of Service.
Scheduled this year from Jan. 21 to 31, the 10-day event includes volunteer tasks such as organizing, teaching, and providing meal service and community support at local organizations like the Bea Gaddy Family Center, the Franciscan Center, Moveable Feast, and more. With more than 80 spots available, there's something for everyone.
Whether you're serving meals, sorting donations, or distributing food, your participation will make a difference in the community. To sign up, go to the MLK Day of Service webpage.
The university's service leave policy allows faculty and staff to volunteer during their regularly scheduled work hours for a maximum of two days per fiscal year.
