The Johns Hopkins Child Care and Early Learning Center in East Baltimore, Bright Horizons, has openings for preschool children, minimum age 2 years, 9 months, to start on Monday, Aug. 19. The center is located at 98 N. Broadway.

To enroll their children, parents must be faculty, staff, postdocs, residents, or students at the Johns Hopkins schools of Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health; or employees of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Health System, or Johns Hopkins Hospital.

The center's program is designed to ensure full confidence in every aspect of your child's experience, including health, safety, and school readiness, with dedicated support from experienced educators. Bright Horizons emphasizes:

  • Joyful, appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery
  • Opportunities that develop problem-solving and decision-making skills that support future-ready, well-rounded, confident children
  • A curriculum that emphasizes hands-on approaches to building skills for kindergarten readiness and beyond
