Since 2011, nearly 5,000 students have each received two new uniforms thanks to the generosity of Johns Hopkins employees.

Starting the school year with new uniforms and school supplies helps students build confidence, allowing them to better focus on classwork. In addition, Baltimore City Public Schools reports that access to uniforms and essential supplies is linked to improved attendance rates.

In partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools, the Johns Hopkins Adopt-a-Student Uniform & Supply Drive assists families in purchasing the uniforms required for elementary, middle, and high school students. A $50 donation can provide a City Schools student with two new uniforms, plus school supplies, for the upcoming academic year.

You can adopt one or more students by clicking this link to donate. If you have a question or need technical assistance, call 410-350-5973 or email the Johns Hopkins Office of Government, Community & Economic Partnerships at communityprograms@jhu.edu.
