Protecting your retirement savings and investments, having enough money to last a lifetime, and planning for your health care needs are all important considerations in preparing for your retirement from the university.
Staff and bargaining unit members of all ages are invited to attend the complimentary Pre-Retirement Program scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, in the Turner Concourse on the East Baltimore campus.
Throughout this daylong retirement education program, speakers will present information on JHU benefits in retirement and transitioning to Medicare, and experts will be on hand to discuss JHU offerings for financial planning, lifelong learning, legal considerations, and more. Whether you are midcareer or within five years of retirement, this event will help you prepare and plan for your post-work years. Research shows that people who plan for this significant transition in life are more satisfied in retirement.
Detailed information can be found here.
Register here to attend, as space is limited.
The virtual Fall 2024 Pre-Retirement Program will take place Sept. 9 to 22.
