How do you feel about planning for retirement? Whether you're anxious or in control, JHU Benefits & Worklife has both long-standing and new resources to support you in preparing for and building your future in retirement.
The virtual Pre-Retirement Program is a two-week series presented each spring and fall, happening this year from April 22 to May 3 and again from Sept. 9 to Sept. 22. Week one focuses on midcareer planning, while week two centers on current pre-retirees who are 55 and older or within five years of retirement. The sessions cover JHU retiree benefits, Medicare, all aspects of financial planning, legal planning, nonfinancial considerations, and more.
The summer in-person Pre-Retirement Program returns to the Turner Concourse in East Baltimore on June 5. The vibrant in-person fair will feature partners Marsh McLennan Agency, TIAA, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, plus presentations on various retirement topics including:
- Eligibility requirements for retiree status
- JHU benefits in retirement and tips on using employee benefits to plan your retirement
- Medicare
- Nonfinancial aspects of retirement preparation
Save the dates and refer to the Planning for Retirement webpage for schedule details and registration information for all events.
