In the last quarter of the calendar year, JHU Healthy at Hopkins is celebrating social well-being. In addition to caring for our physical health, connecting with others in healthy ways is important in maintaining overall emotional well-being. To get you started, JHU Healthy at Hopkins is offering two exclusive opportunities for social connection: a Be Well Together challenge in November and participation in Burnalong's newly created JHU Healthy at Hopkins community.

Be Well Together Challenge

Be healthy with co-workers, family, and friends from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, and you will be entered to win weekly prizes. You can attend cooking classes, take dance classes, practice relaxation techniques, learn how to manage chronic medical conditions, and more, all on JHU's virtual wellness platform, Burnalong. You must be enrolled in your free Burnalong account to participate:

Here's how to participate. Each week in November, do any of the following to be entered into the weekly prize raffle:

  • Give a gift: Add up to four subaccounts to share Burnalong with family or friends.
  • Get social: Take live or on-demand classes with family, friends, and co-workers.
  • Get inspired: View inspiring content from a curated Social Well-Being playlist on ways to be well together.

Here's how to get started. On Nov. 1, join the JHU Social Well-Being playlist via this Burnalong link. Here you can access tutorials on how to add subaccounts, take classes with your family/colleagues, and view curated classes to support you as you ramp up for the busy social holiday season.

Note: You can take virtual classes with your subaccounts if they have a personal Burnalong account, but they are not eligible to participate in this challenge.

If you are a raffle prize winner, you will be notified by email.

JHU Healthy at Hopkins Burnalong community

An added feature in Burnalong is a newly created exclusive: the JHU Healthy at Hopkins community. Share how you are being well together and get special content from Burnalong instructors. You can stay connected with the JHU community on Burnalong after the challenge.

To encourage your colleagues to join, post this flyer in your department. You'll receive an email reminder just before the challenge begins.

If you have technical issues signing up for Burnalong, or participating in the challenge, contact customercare@burnalong.com.
