Voluntary benefits available during Annual Enrollment
Critical illness insurance
Group critical illness insurance pays a cash benefit directly to you to help cover out-of-pocket medical and other expenses caused by a critical illness such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke. You receive a lump sum to help pay expenses as you see fit, from medical co-pays and deductibles to personal expenses such as mortgage payments and child care. You choose an initial benefits amount of $10,000, $15,000, $20,000, $25,000, or $30,000.
Accident insurance
Accidents can be costly. Group accident insurance pays you cash benefits to help cover your out-of-pocket expenses so you can focus more on getting well and less on the extra expenses an accident can bring. Accident insurance can help offset emergency room fees, deductibles, and co-pays as well as everyday living expenses related to injuries that you or a family member suffers in a motor vehicle accident, a fall, while playing sports, or in another type of accident. You may choose between a low and high option.
Legal services plan
Some legal situations are planned, such as creating a will, and others are more unexpected, such as dealing with a traffic ticket. With legal insurance, network attorney fees are paid 100% in full for most covered matters. With this plan, you have access to telephone advice and in-office consultations regarding a wide range of personal legal services. Among the issues for which full representation is available are:
- Preparation of legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, and many others
- Purchase, sale, and refinancing of your primary residence
- Immigration assistance
- Debt collection defense
- Legal help with identity theft
- Legal help for reproductive matters such as surrogacy; egg, sperm, gamete, or embryo donation; and/or embryo adoption
Voluntary benefits enrollment available year-round

My Pet Protection from Nationwide helps you provide your pets with the best care possible by reimbursing you for eligible vet bills. You can get cash back for accidents, illnesses, heredity conditions, and more. Choose 50% or 70% reimbursement for the level of coverage that fits your needs. You're free to use any veterinarian, and your coverage includes added benefits for cats and dogs, such as emergency boarding and lost-pet advertising. Plus, the 24/7 vet helpline is included as a service to all members.

Plus, through this program you also can protect a rental property, boat, motor home, or other belongings.
Identity protection
Your identity is more than your Social Security number and credit score. Allstate Identity Protection Pro+ helps you look after all your online activity, from financial transactions to what you share on social media. If fraud occurs, the $1 million identity theft reimbursement has you covered. The Identity Protection program can offer you peace of mind with services that can help you both prevent identity theft and recover your identity if you become a victim.
