Another Hopkins Night at Camden Yards is in the books

Nearly 350 members of the Hopkins community were in the stands as the home team faced off against the Rays

Nearly 350 members of the Johns Hopkins community—faculty and staff and their families and friends—attended Hopkins Night at Camden Yards on Sept. 14. The highly anticipated matchup between the Baltimore Orioles and the Tampa Bay Rays ultimately ended in a loss for the O's but delivered a great experience for the fans.

Hopkins attendees cheered on the home team wearing special caps sporting the Orioles bird and a JHU logo, both in Hopkins blue.

Before the game, Hopkins received a Heavy Hitters award, in recognition of its selling more than 300 tickets, and an autographed baseball, both accepted on its behalf by Julia Schwartz from the Johns Hopkins Office of Government, Community, and Economic Partnerships.
