Envisioning Retirement—A Guided Visual Journaling Exercise

Friday, Sept. 22, noon to 1 p.m.
How about taking a mindful moment to visualize what your days in retirement may look like? Join Rachel Liccardo as she leads the group through a guided visual-journaling activity. This exercise will help you learn ways to reduce stress around approaching retirement and to open up about your emotions or challenges. You will need a piece of paper and something with which to write. Artistic ability is not a requirement, but if you enjoy arts and crafts, feel free to use supplies to make a colorful visual. This workshop is available only to Johns Hopkins affiliates, not guests. Space is limited.

The Office of Benefits & Worklife hosts a recurring Retirement Readiness virtual networking meeting on the second Friday of every month for employees wanting to exchange thoughts, concerns, and resources pertaining to the retirement journey to better prepare for a successful transition.
