The JHU Office of Benefits & Worklife offers an array of workshops for faculty/staff and departments that reflect its programming and address the needs of employees.

Virtual webinars covering child care, personal development, physical and mental health, finances, benefits topics, and more are offered every month.

In addition, departments may request virtual or on-site workshops for meetings, retreats, and special events. These workshops are provided by Benefits & Worklife staff and the university's vendor partners, which include Bright Horizons, Burnalong, Care.com, Work Stride, and others.

Live and on-demand webinars

The Workshops & Webinars page of the Benefits & Worklife website is the go-to spot for finding upcoming live and on-demand webinars that support employees in managing all aspects of life. If you can't join a webinar live, you can register and, in most instances, will receive a recording after it takes place.

Departmental enrichment

Departments may request virtual webinars, on-site workshops, and on-site fitness classes from the Workshops & Webinars catalog for their staff. There is no charge for this service. Thirty-minute to one-hour sessions can be scheduled for staff meetings, wellness days, staff retreats, and more.

Newly added to the catalog is the option to request eight-week on-site fitness classes such as Yoga, Zumba, and Stretch and Balance for a minimum of 10 staff members. Departments may open classes to others in their building if space allows.

Requests should be submitted at least four weeks ahead of time. For general questions about workshops, webinars, and on-site classes, email wellnessprograms@jhu.edu.
