Fall Pre-Retirement Program is back with new resources

Virtual events will help you prepare for your post-work journey

The Fall Pre-Retirement Program, to be held virtually from Friday, Sept. 8, to Friday, Sept. 22, is back with new resources to help you prepare for your journey to retirement.

The program will include webinars covering popular topics such as JHU Benefits in Retirement, Transitioning to Medicare, Legal Planning, and Social Security, as well as Pre-Retirement Visual Journaling and other nonfinancial aspects of retirement planning. By tuning in, you will learn about:

  • Determining your goals, needs, and investment style
  • Diversifying your income in retirement
  • Spending wisely in retirement
  • Deciding if you are on track or need to adjust your investment choices
  • Getting started with estate planning

In addition, the Office of Benefits & Worklife will resume the Retirement Readiness Networking Group for those wanting to exchange thoughts, concerns, and resources to better prepare for a successful transition.

The networking group will meet from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Friday of the month. Upcoming dates are Sept. 8, Oct. 13, Nov. 10, and Dec. 8. Click here to register for this group; you will need to register only once to access all sessions.
