You can still register for the virtual workshops that remain in JHU's Spring Pre-Retirement Program series, which runs through April 28.

These webinars offer further insight into topics such as mastering Social Security, steps to setting your retirement date, financial planning, and Mercer Marketplace 365+.

Visit the Benefits & Worklife website to review the agenda and to register.

The Pre-Retirement Program will return to an in-person format this summer with a Retirement Fair that will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, in the Turner concourse on the East Baltimore campus. This event will include two live presentations: JHU Benefits in Retirement and Transitioning to Medicare. Representatives from JHU vendor partners, JHU-sponsored lifelong learning programs, and other groups will be on-site. Detailed information will be available in future editions of HR NewsWire and in Today's Announcements.

Then, save the dates Sept. 8 to 22 to wrap up the year with the virtual 2023 Fall Pre-Retirement Program.

Networking group

The Office of Benefits & Worklife continues to host a recurring Retirement Readiness virtual networking meeting for those wanting to exchange thoughts, concerns, and resources about the retirement journey to better prepare for a successful transition.

Upcoming networking meetings will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on two Fridays, May 12 and June 9; after a summer break, they will resume in September, meeting on the second Friday of each month. Registration is not required.

You can download and import the iCalendar (.ics) files to your calendar system by clicking here or join the Zoom meetings on the second Friday of the month here.
