Huevos rancheros and pad thai on the agenda

Here's how one JHU office embraced its return to on-campus workdays

When the University Communications team assembled in its Keswick office on its first core in-person day after Feb. 1, one of the early matters of business wasn't business: It was lunch.

So much work had been happening via Zoom, and so many people had come on board during the pandemic, that sharing a meal, it was decided, would be a great way to connect in person. Plus, it would support local Hampden restaurants that may have seen business slide when many JHU employees were working remotely.

And so the monthly Lunch Bunch was born, kicking off with a walk in February to Golden West Café for southwestern food and followed in March with a walk to Bodhi Corner for Thai.
