Neighborhood Fund

The Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund application period will begin on Monday, Jan. 9.

The fund was created in 2007 to support nonprofit organizations that serve the communities near Hopkins campuses and are associated with Johns Hopkins through employee or institutional involvement.

Donations, made through the university's annual United Way campaign, support organizations addressing needs in the areas of community revitalization, education, employment, health, and public safety.

Since the fund's inception, $3 million has been awarded to neighborhood groups.

Are you involved in a local nonprofit? You may be able to help it get additional funding.

A webinar will be held to kick off the application period, with an opportunity for past and new applicants to ask questions and learn more about the grant-writing process. Details will be announced soon.
