The MLK Day of Service—an opportunity for Johns Hopkins employees to volunteer in their communities—returns on Friday, Jan. 20.

This year, more than 20 local organizations in Baltimore, Washington, Howard County, and St. Petersburg, Florida, have spots in need of support from the university and health system. You and your colleagues can sign up here to lend a hand at the organization of your choice.

This activity qualifies for service leave, which allows university employees to use up to two paid workdays each fiscal year for community service.

Visit the MLK Day of Service webpage for event updates and to view information about the participating community partners.

Questions can be sent to communityprogams@jh.edu.
