The event previously known as the Johns Hopkins Baby Shower has a new name and reenvisioned agenda designed to better support employees.

Now known as Family Building, the weeklong virtual event that begins on Monday, Nov. 7, will be full of webinars spanning a variety of topics for JHU and JHHS affiliates building their families.

Planning, expecting, and new parents will be able to learn about benefits and leave policies, Worklife programs, and available services, as well as hear from subject matter experts in wellness, reproductive health, child care, lactation, and more.

Most sessions will allow time for Q&As with the experts (questions can be submitted anonymously). Check out the Family and Caregiving website for additional information about the sessions, presenters, and resources available to you and your family.

Registration links for the webinars will be posted on the Planning, Expecting, and New Parent webpage. For those unable to attend the events, sessions will be recorded and shared afterward with those who register.

If you have questions, email worklife@jhu.edu or call the Benefits Service Center at 410-516-2000.
