One quick and easy way to give to the community is through the Vernon Rice Memorial Turkey Drive, the university's annual holiday program that helps families in need.
A $45 donation will provide a basket containing a fresh turkey and vegetables from a local farm, which will be delivered by St. Anthony of Padua Church for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Donations can be made via credit or debit card and must be received by Monday, Nov. 7.
