Additional training and tools for managers leading hybrid teams are available through JHU's Learning Solutions and LinkedIn Learning. These new resources reflect feedback and experiences from leaders across the university and supplement the dedicated hybrid work resources website that Learning Solutions launched in summer 2021.

On the Manager Resources for Hybrid Work website, an e-course and a toolkit for managers were added along with links to LinkedIn learning resources.

The new Managing Hybrid Teams e-course covers topics such as:

  • Creating cohesive teams
  • Best practices in meeting management
  • Creating team charters
  • Evaluating team and individual performance

The e-course also includes interactive tools that managers can use to document strategic principles as well as operational norms (e.g., how conflict will be communicated and managed).

The new interactive Managing Hybrid Teams Resources Toolkit has links to resources as well as fillable forms to help teams document key processes. Managers can save and share these forms with their teams. Among the topics are:

  • Team meeting formats
  • Ways for teams to stay connected
  • Measuring performance
