Summer is here, and while we all want to enjoy the outdoors, it is important to take measures to protect our skin from exposure to ultraviolet rays that can increase the risk of developing sun-related skin cancer. The month of July is recognized as UV safety month as a reminder to practice sun protection during the summer months, when UV rays are the strongest.

To learn about the causes and symptoms of skin cancer and how to protect your skin so you can enjoy the season safely, attend a Skin Cancer Awareness webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21.
