JHU's wellness program, Healthy at Hopkins is launching a new online fitness and wellness program available to all university employees. The new BurnAlong platform is accessible on phones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs, and you will have the ability to invite up to four family members or friends to join on your account. This free employee benefit will replace current wellness classes.
Simply go to join.burnalong.com/JHU to learn more and to create your account. You will need your JHED ID to register. (If you do not know your JHED ID, follow the instructions here.)
BurnAlong gives you:
- Instant access to on-demand and live video classes from hundreds of instructors spanning more than 45 health and wellness categories. Choose from the many cardio, yoga, dance, mindfulness, sleep, nutrition, financial well-being, and other classes.
- Classes for every age, interest, and level. Classes range from five minutes to more than 60. From prenatal classes, to kids' classes, to classes for chronic conditions, to senior classes, there is something for everyone.
- Option to take classes alone or with friends/family. Increase the fun when you see and hear each other while taking classes. You can visit the JHU Wellness page for guidance on taking classes together. It's free to those on your account, too.
Join JHU wellness programs from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, for a live launch party via Zoom, where you can ask any questions you have about the platform, classes, or instructors. If you can't join the live session, you'll be able to find the recording afterward on the JHU Wellness Programs webpage.
Join the Zoom meeting here (meeting ID: 816 7300 1351; passcode: 312570) or call 301-715-8592.
