Virtual business teams and work groups are composed of people with complementary skills, a common purpose, and interdependent goals. They can all live locally but sometimes are separated by geography, time zones, and language and culture. These teams and groups have to maintain strong communication with each other to be most effective.
A workshop titled How to Be an Effective Virtual Team Member will focus on three aspects of connecting effectively:
- Understanding what makes up a virtual team and its most efficient and effective team members
- Learning how to incorporate basic communication techniques that improve virtual interaction
- Incorporating tips and tricks that will make your virtual meetings interactive and compelling—and reinvigorate your team
