Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund applications due Feb. 12

Do you work with a local nonprofit? You may be able to help it get funds it needs to do its work

There's no better time to be more involved in Baltimore, and one good way to do it is by helping an organization you care about get the money it needs to do its work.

The Johns Hopkins Neighborhood Fund provides grants that assist the efforts of local nonprofits to build stronger neighborhoods by addressing needs in the areas of community revitalization, education, employment, health, and public safety.

If you work with a local nonprofit that needs additional funding, go here to learn about the requirements and the application process. Grant applications describing an organization's positive impact on the community require a Johns Hopkins sponsor (employee, retiree, student, or alum).

Applications must be submitted via the online portal no later than Friday, Feb. 12.

Donations to the Neighborhood Fund are made through the annual Johns Hopkins United Way campaign.
