Openings are currently available at all three Hopkins child care center partners: Homewood Early Learning Center, Weinberg Early Childhood Center, and the Johns Hopkins Child Care and Early Learning Center (Bright Horizons). The schools have different priority systems for Hopkins enrollment, and parents should contact centers directly to apply. Links to each center can be found here.

Scholarships are available for those with a family income of up to $96,000 (or more for households with two or more children ages 5 and under). For additional scholarship information, click here.

The Y of Central Maryland is operating a temporary Academic Support Center for children ages 5 to 12 at the Henderson-Hopkins school, located near the East Baltimore campus, and Johns Hopkins has partnered to reserve 50 spots for employees and students of the university and health system.

Full- and half-day options are available to provide children with safe, in-person support for their school's online learning program. The Academic Support Center offers supervision for remote learning as well as breaks and recreation. Parents are responsible for paying for the care, which is approximately $250 a week for full-time attendance. This expense may be eligible for reimbursement through the university's COVID-19 Caregiving Relief Fund. The regular hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Y may be able to slightly extend hours by request, for an additional charge. To register, Hopkins affiliates should use the link provided on HR's School Age and Educational Resources webpage or here.
