Experiencing overwhelming high stress or strong emotions, such as sadness, anger, guilt, and shame, can all have a significant effect on an individual's functioning, whether at work or outside it.

Challenges can arise when individuals with emotional pain turn to maladaptive coping strategies such as alcohol and substances, overeating, and gambling to get by or cope.

In a mySupport webinar titled Emotional Pain—How Do You Cope? participants will learn about the connection between emotional pain and substance use, the warning signs, and when and where to seek support.

Join clinicians from the mySupport onsite clinical team from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, by signing up in advance for this live Zoom meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the information to join the meeting.
