As the new year gets underway, make a promise to yourself: Resolve to get your retirement planning in order. Unlike your health and life benefits elections, you can make changes to your Retirement Choice elections throughout the year. That may include saving more for retirement with the IRS contribution limit increasing from $19,000 to $19,500 in 2020 (plus $6,500 catch-up for those age 50 or older), or getting personalized advice at a one-on-one session with your investment provider of choice. The schedule for upcoming campus visits from representatives of Fidelity, TIAA-CREF, and Vanguard is available on the Benefits & Worklife website.

Through the Retirement Choice online portal, you can:

  • View JHU 403(b) retirement plan balances and manage contributions
  • Review and change your contribution amounts and investment provider
  • Learn more about the investment options that are available to you

Select the myChoices Retirement Enrollment tab from the Benefits & Worklife homepage.

Additionally, by using your investment provider's website, you can make changes to your investment funds or beneficiaries at any time.
