The Internal Revenue Service announced on Wednesday the annual 403(b) limits for 2020. They are as follows:
- Pre-tax elective deferral: $19,500 (was $19,000 in 2019)
- Age 50 and over catch-up: $6,500 (was $6,000 in 2019)
- Overall by employer/employee: $57,000 (was $56,000 in 2019)
- Annual compensation limit: $285,000 (was $280,000 in 2019)
