Did you know that cholesterol plays an important role in the body? Your cholesterol levels are directly tied to your heart health. September is Cholesterol Awareness Month, a perfect time to get the facts. Pam Milles, an advanced practice health coach with HealthFitness, will review the components of a lipid profile and what they mean, discuss lifestyle factors that can impact cholesterol levels, and provide simple tips to keep numbers in a healthy range.

Milles holds bachelor's degrees in nutrition from the University of Minnesota and in psychology from St. Catherine's University. She supports individuals in building a path to long-term improved health in the areas of physical activity, healthy eating, sleeping, tobacco cessation, condition management, and stress management.
