Did you know that cholesterol plays an important role in the body? Your cholesterol levels are directly tied to your heart health. September is Cholesterol Awareness Month, a perfect time to get the facts. Learn more about cholesterol and what you can do if your levels are unhealthy by viewing the webinar Understanding Cholesterol—Your Key to Heart Health from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Pam Milles, an advanced practice health coach with HealthFitness, will review the components of a lipid profile and what they mean, discuss lifestyle factors that can impact cholesterol levels, and provide simple tips to keep numbers in a healthy range.

Milles holds bachelor's degrees in nutrition from the University of Minnesota and in psychology from St. Catherine's University. She supports individuals in building a path to long-term improved health in the areas of physical activity, healthy eating, sleeping, tobacco cessation, condition management, and stress management.
