With taxes behind you, now is the perfect time to reassess your overall financial goals, including staying on track for your retirement.

Take action this month by meeting with your 403(b) investment representative from Fidelity, TIAA, and/or Vanguard. The individual financial counseling sessions are free of charge to benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and bargaining unit members.

In 2019, you can make pre-tax contributions to a 403(b) retirement plan from a minimum of $15 per month up to an annual maximum of $19,000. And if you are age 50 or older, you may make additional "catch-up" contributions of up to $6,000/year.

Appointments are being offered on the Homewood, East Baltimore, Bayview, Candler, Carey, Columbia, Eastern, Green Spring Station, Hagerstown, Keswick, Peabody, Washington, and White Marsh campuses.

Contact the investment company directly to make your appointment. The schedule for May through August is available on the Benefits website.
