The Office of Work, Life and Engagement supports the Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program and encourages everyone to help it raise awareness and money for suicide prevention through an American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness campus walk.

The 3-plus-mile walk from the School of Nursing to Patterson Park and back is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 13. (Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.)

Faculty, staff, students, families, and friends are invited to participate by walking and/or raising funds. By participating in the Johns Hopkins University Campus Walk, you will be walking with thousands of individuals across the country to raise money for AFSP's research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives.

To register online, or to make a donation supporting the JHU effort, go to the Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program website before Friday, April 12.
