NAACP President Derrick Johnson to headline MLK Jr. Commemoration
In addition, eight candidates from the university and health system will receive the 2018 Awards for Community Service
Save the date for the 37th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration, taking place from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, in Turner Auditorium on the East Baltimore campus.
Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the NAACP, will be the keynote speaker, and eight candidates from the university and health system will be recognized with the 2018 Award for Community Service. (Learn more about the service awards and past speakers here. )
