Wordplay at Work: Beginning Writing and Grammar on the Job is an interactive and humorous workshop designed for those seeking to re-familiarize themselves with the basics of report-based writing, English grammar/mechanics, appropriate tone, and effective style.

The course will explore the key elements of writing and demonstrate the differences between editing and revising. In addition, participants will learn strategies for overcoming a variety of "extra-textual" concerns such as writer's block, hard deadlines, cultural expectations, and audience indifference. By the end of the course, workplace writers will become less "phobic" and more capable.

Register online for this one-day class, which will be offered by Learning and Development on Friday, May 11.
