Hop on the bus with the Johns Hopkins Live Near Your Work program and tour many of the grants-eligible LNYW neighborhoods in Baltimore City. Among those that participants will see are Greenmount West, Remington, Barclay, Eager Park, Highlandtown, and Greektown.
Katie Walsh, LNYW program manager, will discuss how you might qualify for one of LNYW's home-buying grants, which range from $5,000 to $17,000.
Representatives from various neighborhood associations will be on hand to describe aspects of their respective communities—housing styles, restaurants, hot spots, and more.
The tour takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 19, and the bus departs from Johns Hopkins at Eastern, 1101 East 33rd St., where free parking is available.
