Join Katie Walsh, manager of the Johns Hopkins Live Near Your Work program, for a workshop titled What Are the Rules and How to Apply to learn the ins and outs of this home-buying grant for specific Baltimore City neighborhoods.
Grants for eligible JHU employees range from $5,000 to $17,000, depending on the location.
Eligibility requirements, steps for applying, homeownership counseling suggestions, an overview of the neighborhoods where Johns Hopkins employees can purchase, and the conditions of the program will be covered. Attendees also will receive guidance on how to navigate the home-buying process.
The noon to 1 p.m. workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 10, in East Baltimore and on Tuesday, April 17, at Homewood. The Johns Hopkins Shuttle makes frequent runs between campuses.
