If you're like most people, public speaking exists somewhere on your list of fears. Fortunately, the Johns Hopkins at Eastern Toastmasters Club can help, and the group is hosting an open house to show you how. Join in to experience a typical Toastmasters meeting, including speeches and a Q&A session. Come and enjoy refreshments, and you may even win a raffle prize.

The club is open to all Johns Hopkins faculty and staff interested in strengthening communication, leadership, and public speaking skills in an informal setting. Lively meetings are held twice monthly, at noon on the first Thursday and at 4 p.m. on the third Wednesday, at Johns Hopkins at Eastern, where parking is free.

RSVP here for the open house, which will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at Johns Hopkins at Eastern, 1101 E. 33rd St., Room A120.

Park in a visitor space in front of the building and bring your license plate number to the front desk to check in, or take the Keswick-Homewood-Eastern-JHMI Shuttle.
