Plan ahead for Annual Enrollment

As you plan for Johns Hopkins' Annual Enrollment period, which this year goes from Oct. 20 to Nov. 7, use the many resources available to help you make the best choices for you and your family.

Attend a town hall to hear important information from the Benefits team.

Visit myChoices to see an overview of what's offered at enrollment and to learn more about all plan changes, in particular the prescription drug coverage and the changes in life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

Try the Medical Plan Coverage Comparison tool to get a side-by-side look at how health care services are covered under each plan. You can customize the settings to compare the features and services that are important to you.

Find full plan details in the Health and Welfare Summary Plan Description and a general description of medical benefits in the Summaries of Benefits and Coverages.

Provide current dependent and beneficiary information. Those enrolled in university-provided life insurance or a retirement plan should have beneficiary information on file. Follow up with your 403(b) financial vendor to confirm that your beneficiary information is up-to-date.

Visit the Voluntary Benefits website for information on available options such as vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, legal insurance, and auto/homeowner's insurance.
