Hop on the bus with Live Near Your Work and tour many of the eligible LNYW neighborhoods in Baltimore City.
Katie Walsh, LNYW program manager in the Office of Work, Life and Engagement, will discuss how you, as a Johns Hopkins employee, might qualify for a LNYW grant to assist you in buying a house.
Representatives from various neighborhood associations will be on hand to describe aspects of their respective communities such as housing styles, restaurants, and hot spots.
The tour takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 6, and the bus departs from Johns Hopkins at Eastern, 1101 East 33rd St.

Since the Live Near Your Work program was launched in 2008, 745 Johns Hopkins employees have received grants toward buying their homes. The amount provided by Hopkins to date: about $6.5 million.
