University faculty and staff can tour the Weinberg Y Preschool on East 33rd Street, meet the center's staff, and place their children's names on a wait list at an open house being held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4. Parents also can learn about:
- The university's Dependent Care Voucher Program, which provides up to $5,000 in subsidy to eligible employees who must pay caregiver expenses in order to work.
- Information about the Backup Care/Care@Work program, which provides in-home sick, emergency, or backup care at a reduced cost for eligible faculty and staff.
The preschool is located at 900 E. 33rd St., near Johns Hopkins at Eastern and a short distance from the Homewood campus. For more information or to have your name placed on the wait list, contact the Office of Work, Life and Engagement at worklife@jhu.edu or 443-997-7000.
